MusiCO's Director and Founder, Miguel Soldevila, discovered the love of music at the age of 10 when his brother brought home a guitar which sparked his curiosity for learning more. Since then, Miguel has dedicated his life as an educator in order to reach people through the arts for the last 20+ years. In 2022, MusiCO was birthed out of seeing the limited access children and youth have to explore a wide variety of instruments in a regular classroom along with the demand that parents were seeking ways to connect and strengthen their child-parent relationship while engaging in a new learning opportunity. This has opened doors for cultivating a stronger sense of community while sharing personal cultural knowledge and musical traditions in order to continue impacting the next generation of artists.
